Since the time of it’s inception Air Asia has brought nothing but smiles on the faces of the common man. The budget carrier has introduced a promotional offer with flights starting at as low as Rs. 438. The airline’s offer is valid on bookings made till August 9th and for travel between August 11th 2014 and January 29th 2015. Tickets on the Chennai-Bangalore route start at Rs. 438 and flights from Bangalore to Goa, Kochi and Chennai range Rs. 635 on wards.
The airline is in talks of starting flights from Bangalore to Jaipur and Bangalore to Chandigarh in early September. This is the airline’s first expansion into North India. Mittu Chandilya, CEO Air Asia India tweeted, ‘Excited about Chandigarh and Jaipur, not done yet finalizing the next set of destinations’
Feeling the desperate need to keep up, other flight carriers have also launched several promotional offers. Late in July Jet Airways launched a pan-India sale, offering fares of as low as Rs. 1,499 on its economy class domestic flights. SpiceJet, GoAir and Indigo had also launched individual promotional offers with flight fares starting at Rs. 1,699.
